Robbert Vorhoff is a managing director and the Global Head of Healthcare at General Atlantic, an investment management firm in New York City. He also serves on the firm’s Investment Committee.
Prior to joining General Atlantic, Mr. Vorhoff began his career in the mergers & acquisitions and restructuring advisory group of Greenhill & Co., and then in the private equity group with Greenhill Capital Partners.
Mr. Vorhoff currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Alignment Healthcare (NASDAQ: ALHC), Author Health, Equality Health, Included Health, Marathon Health, NationsBenefits and Suvida Healthcare. He serves as an observer to the boards of Stellar Health, Vida Health and WelbeHealth. Previous portfolio responsibilities include A Place for Mom, Align Networks, Alternate Solutions Health Network, eviCore Healthcare, Grupo Qualicorp, Landmark Health, MedExpress Urgent Care, NYSE Euronext, Oak Street Health, OneOncology and RiskMetrics Group.
Mr. Vorhoff remains actively involved with the University of Virginia, serving as a board member of the McIntire School of Commerce. He also serves on the board of The Idea Village, an accelerator supporting entrepreneurship and innovation in his hometown of New Orleans.
Mr. Vorhoff received a B.S. in commerce with a concentration in finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia (UVA). While at UVA, he was awarded the William M. Shermet Scholarship by the McIntire faculty on the basis of academic performance, character and leadership.
